Tell us what happened, your iPhone model, iOS version, and IconFold version. Screenshots help; leave out anything private.

Put IconFold on your Home Screen

  1. Open IconFold and choose the apps for your first list.
  2. Touch and hold the Home Screen, choose Edit, then Add Widget.
  3. Search for IconFold. Choose Fold for an expandable list, or List to keep it visible.
  4. Move other icons to the App Library if you want a cleaner page. IconFold does not move or delete them.

The widget isn’t listed

Open IconFold once, then try the widget gallery again. If it is still missing, restart your iPhone and check that the app is installed.

An app won’t open

Check that the destination app is installed. For a manually added app, check its link in IconFold. Some apps need a brief hand-off through IconFold or Apple Shortcuts. Follow the in-app setup instructions and use the exact shortcut name shown there.

If the app is missing from our list, email us its name and App Store link. We can investigate support, but not every app offers a compatible opening link.

Folded and unfolded widgets

The Fold widget can switch between a clock and your app list. The List widget stays open. If you see fewer apps than expected, choose a larger widget or adjust its text size and spacing.

Lists and schedules

Set a list’s hours in Apps. If it is not switching, check You → Settings → Keep one list all day. When that option is on, automatic switching is paused.

Weather is missing or out of date

Open You → Weather in IconFold and enable location access. Weather uses your approximate location with Apple Weather. Your last location and forecast are stored on your device for widget updates. Check the connection and use Try again if shown.

You can change location permission in iPhone Settings. Widget refresh timing is managed by iOS, so updates may not appear immediately. The rest of IconFold works without weather.

Restore IconFold Pro

Use the Apple Account that made the purchase, then open You → Settings → Restore purchase. If restoration fails, contact us with the message you see. Do not send your password or payment-card details.

Apple handles App Store payments and refund requests. For a refund request, visit Apple’s Report a Problem.

Return to your previous Home Screen

Open You → Settings → Put your home screen back for the guide. You can remove the widgets, show hidden Home Screen pages, and change your wallpaper. IconFold does not uninstall your apps.
