Who we are

IconFold is made by DragOnward LLC, an independent studio in California, United States. This policy covers the IconFold app, its widgets, our IconFold web pages, and support communications. Contact hello@dragonward.studio with privacy questions.

Lists, settings, and activity

The app stores your chosen app names and opening links, lists, schedules, appearance settings, and feature preferences on your device. Opening counts and activity used by the pause and attention features are also stored locally. These features concern activity through IconFold, not a system-wide history of every app you use.

We do not receive this information on a developer-operated app server. The app and its widgets share information through an on-device App Group container.

iCloud

IconFold uses Apple’s iCloud key-value storage to synchronize app state through your Apple Account: lists, schedules, preferences, and the opening counts used by the pause and attention features. Purchase status and in-progress app openings are not synchronized. Apple provides this service; we do not have access to your private iCloud store. Availability depends on your Apple Account and device settings.

Optional weather and location

If you enable weather and grant permission, IconFold requests an approximate location. It uses Apple Weather to retrieve conditions and forecasts, and Apple Maps to determine a place name. Those requests are processed by Apple.

Your last location, place name, and weather forecast are cached on your device in the shared app-and-widget container so the widget can refresh. We do not receive your location. You can turn off location access in iPhone Settings. When IconFold detects that access is off, it deletes the saved location and forecast.

Photos and wallpapers

When you save a wallpaper, IconFold asks for permission to add it to your photo library. If you choose a screenshot for wallpaper fitting, the system photo picker gives the app the image you select. The app processes it on your device; it does not upload it to us.

Purchases and external apps

Apple processes purchases and restores through StoreKit. IconFold uses transaction information to determine whether Pro is unlocked. We do not receive your payment-card details.

When you open another app, website, or Apple Shortcut from IconFold, that destination handles the request under its own policies. Some links may open a website when the destination app is unavailable.

When you contact support

We receive the email address and message you choose to send, including any attachments. An in-app email draft may include the app version, iOS version, and general device model. You can edit the draft before sending. It is not sent automatically.

We use support messages to respond, diagnose reported problems, and handle requests. Messages are handled through our email service. We retain them as needed for these purposes and applicable obligations, then delete them when no longer needed. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information you sent by contacting the address above; legal obligations may limit deletion.

This website

Cloudflare delivers and protects these pages. Website requests involve technical information such as an IP address, request URL, and browser information, which may be processed for delivery and security. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Our pages do not embed advertising or analytics SDKs. The light/dark appearance preference is saved in your browser’s local storage. Clearing site data removes that preference. Security features provided by the hosting service may use additional technical storage.

Your controls and deletion

You can edit or remove lists in the app, revoke permissions in iPhone Settings, and remove saved wallpapers in Photos. Deleting IconFold does not automatically remove data retained in iCloud, device backups, your photo library, Apple purchase records, or support emails. Apple manages iCloud, backup, and purchase data under its own settings and policies.

For information held by DragOnward through support, email us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will assess requests under the law that applies to you.

Selling, sharing, and tracking

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. IconFold does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Our pages do not track visitors across sites. Because there is no cross-site tracking to turn off, we respond to Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals the same way we treat every visit.

Children and policy changes

IconFold has no user-registration flow, and we do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information through support. If you believe a child sent us personal information, please contact us.

If the app’s data handling changes, we will update this page and its date. Apple services are also covered by Apple’s privacy policies.
